The Barbarian Limited Edition 4K Steelbook Is Available To Preorder Now
Zach Cregger’s 2022 horror-comedy film Barbarian is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for the first time, marking a significant milestone for fans of physical media. The Limited Edition Steelbook format will be available for preorder immediately, with a release date of August 11 for $45. The package can be ordered through both Amazon and Walmart.
The Steelbook edition features distinctive artwork showcasing the film’s iconic monster design alongside the unassuming house at the story’s center. Beyond the 4K restoration itself, the release includes bonus features providing deeper insight into the filmmaking process. These extras include director’s commentary from Zach Cregger, offering viewers his perspective on creative decisions and production challenges, along with deleted scenes that did not make the theatrical cut.
Barbarian originally premiered in Fall 2022 and has built a dedicated fanbase over the past couple of years with its unique blend of horror and comedy. This physical media release marks the first opportunity for enthusiasts to experience the film in 4K resolution, while the limited-edition Steelbook format appeals to collectors seeking premium home video editions.
