These 32 Classic Arcade Games Are Coming to PS5 Across Two New Compilations
Gravity Game Arise will be bringing 32 classic arcade games to PlayStation 5 this winter through two new compilation volumes. The publisher has announced the Jaleco Arcade Collection Vol. 1 and Jaleco Arcade Collection Vol. 2, featuring games from Jaleco’s extensive catalog spanning the 1980s and 1990s eras of arcade gaming.
While the announcement includes partial game rosters in its press release, the complete lineup for both volumes has not yet been finalized or publicly confirmed. This phased approach suggests each volume will contain a carefully curated selection of the classic titles, though specific details about which games will appear in each compilation remain to be revealed.
The release adds to growing efforts in game preservation, bringing decades-old arcade classics to modern gaming hardware. This type of compilation allows contemporary players to experience the arcade games that defined earlier generations of gaming, while also serving retro gaming enthusiasts who want convenient access to these classics on current-generation consoles.
