How To Complete All What If Rifts In Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, a comprehensive remake of the classic pirate-themed installment, launches today with substantial visual improvements and significant new content. The game introduces four exclusive “Rifts”—“What If” scenarios exploring alternate narrative paths for key characters—alongside a new eight-quest questline called “A World Without Gold” that ties together expanded gameplay systems.

Naval combat receives major enhancements with secondary fire modes for the Jackdaw, three new Naval Officers (including the Master Gunner), and twelve Ultimate Ship Plans for full ship upgrades. Legendary ships return with redesigned mechanics and phases, now capable of respawning for repeated encounters.

Side activities expand significantly: 22 treasure maps (with relocated positions and new clues), sixteen Mayan Stelae puzzles, a new “Art Lover” quest requiring thirty art piece collections, and recruitable pets—cats and monkeys—that serve as ship mascots. Combat and stealth improvements include new blunderbuss-wielding enemies and universal crouching capability.

The remake incorporates a Data Fragments progression system—functioning as a battle pass—enabling players to unlock cosmetics and keys through timed Animus project activities. Cosmetic collection features 28 outfits, including exclusive pre-order variants and character-themed armor like Ezio’s robes.

Technically, the game achieves Steam Deck Verified status and runs smoothly on both Steam Deck and Steam Machine with optimized settings, demonstrating solid performance across handheld and alternative gaming platforms.
