This Chrome extension hides ‘knockoff’ brands on Amazon: ‘Sorry to brands like WNPETHOME, EHEYCIGA, YXY’
A new Chrome extension called Knockoff.shopping, created by Josh Pigford, helps Amazon shoppers identify and avoid counterfeit brands. The tool displays brand names directly on product listings, eliminating the need to click through to verify authenticity. The extension also greys out known knockoff brands, making it easier to distinguish legitimate products from imitations. Pigford specifically called out numerous brands commonly associated with low-quality knockoffs, including WNPETHOME, EHEYCIGA, YXYL, LU&MN, JOYIN, TOMY, GODONLIF, YOOJEE, LINGTENG, LANEIGE, VISCOO, BIODANCE, COOFANDY, BALENNZ, TOSY, and LUENX. The extension addresses a growing frustration among Amazon shoppers who frequently encounter counterfeit products, particularly during major shopping events like Prime Day.
