Destiny 2 Players Get One Last Surprise from Bungie, Developer Reveals Limited Support Plans

Bungie has announced limited support plans for Destiny 2, marking a significant shift for the long-running live-service shooter. As part of this transition, the developer provided players with a farewell gift: a redeemable emblem code featuring the Destiny logo.

The emblem code, F6K-D44-JH4, is available to all players and can be redeemed through Bungie’s website before being equipped in-game. While modest as a parting gesture, the emblem serves as a symbolic acknowledgment of the community’s support over the years.

Bungie communications manager Dylan Gafner confirmed that the team will continue providing support for Destiny 2, though the scope appears to be limited compared to previous development cycles. This announcement reflects changes at Bungie and represents a natural evolution for a game that has been live since 2014, allowing the developer to shift focus to new projects while maintaining operational stability for the existing player base.
