This Cozy Horror Puzzle Game Is Creeping to PS5 Later This Year
Fangtopia, a “cozily creepy” puzzle-tycoon hybrid game, is expanding to PlayStation 5 later this year, according to an announcement by publisher Secret Mode and developer Absolutely Games. The game was previously exclusive to PC but will now reach console players.
The game combines puzzle and tycoon mechanics with a distinctive aesthetic that blends cozy charm with subtle horror elements. Gameplay revolves around stacking hexagonal tiles that merge and grow into various environmental features—including towns, fields, forests, mountains, train tracks, and valleys—as they’re placed adjacent to one another. This tile-placement system forms the core loop of the experience.
The announcement includes exclusive screenshots showcasing the game’s unique visual design and gameplay mechanics. With this PS5 confirmation, Fangtopia is positioning itself to reach a broader console audience beyond the PC gaming community where it was initially announced.
