LEC Summer Finals 2026 Confirmed for Nice, France
Riot Games has announced that the LEC Summer Finals 2026 will be held in Nice, France at the Palais Nikaia from September 18-20. This three-day event will conclude the 2026 LEC season, determining the Summer Split champions and selecting the three EMEA representatives for the League of Legends World Championship.
The announcement marks a significant moment for European esports, as Nice hosts its third LEC event this year, following Karmine Corp’s Paris Roadtrip during the Spring Split and another Roadtrip scheduled for the Summer Split. However, this Summer Finals event differs from the Roadtrip events in that it will be directly organized and hosted by Riot Games rather than by esports organizations.
This centralized hosting approach reflects Riot’s continued investment in European League of Legends competitions and the supporting infrastructure for high-level professional play. The venue selection provides European fans with another opportunity to witness their region’s top teams compete at an elite level before the global Worlds championship.
