PSU maker Seasonic adds RTX 50-Series Super graphics cards to its website - but don’t expect a reveal any time soon
Seasonic, a major power supply manufacturer, has listed unannounced Nvidia RTX 50-series Super graphics cards in its online PSU calculator tool. The three listed models are the RTX 5080 Super, RTX 5070 Ti Super, and RTX 5070 Super, with the first two appearing in the calculator as far back as September 2025, while the 5080 Super was added more recently.
According to the Seasonic listings, these Super variants require significantly more power than their standard counterparts, with specifications showing power increases between 10-17% across the models. The RTX 5070 Super is listed with a 275W TGP, representing a 25W increase over the base model.
While these RTX 50-series Super cards remain officially unannounced by Nvidia, their appearance in Seasonic’s PSU calculator carries particular significance. Historically, the tool has proven to be a reliable indicator of upcoming GPU launches, as Seasonic requires accurate power consumption data to provide proper recommendations. The repeated additions of these unannounced cards suggest they may eventually reach consumers, though no official timeline has been confirmed.
The discovery has reignited speculation about when Nvidia might formally reveal these long-rumored Super variants. Some observers suggest a potential CES 2027 announcement, though this remains purely speculative. The increased power requirements noted in Seasonic’s listings likely correspond to performance enhancements over the standard RTX 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070 models, though specific performance improvements have yet to be disclosed by Nvidia.
