Become King Dracula’s personal vamp-assassin in Vampirium: 1997, an immersive sim Bithell Games are launching into Steam early access soon

Vampirium: 1997 is an upcoming immersive sim from Bithell Games set in an alternate history where Dracula rules the English throne. The game will enter Steam early access soon.

In Vampirium: 1997, players assume the role of a descendant of Dracula’s empire, tasked with eliminating enemies deemed threats to the dark lord. The game emphasizes player agency and multiple approaches to objectives—players can distract, dispose of, or dismember guards using weapons discovered within each level’s environment.

The gameplay loop centers on stealth as a primary strategy, encouraging players to minimize casualties and maintain discretion during missions. However, the game allows for alternative playstyles, enabling players to forge a more direct path through objectives if stealth isn’t their preference.

Bithell Games, known for previous titles like Tron: Catalyst and John Wick Hex, continues its signature immersive sim design philosophy with Vampirium: 1997. The game’s alternative history setting and emphasis on player choice in mission execution align with the studio’s track record of creating systems-focused gameplay experiences.
