Yoshi’s New Switch 2 Game Is Getting A Demo On The Nintendo eShop
Nintendo has announced a free demo for “Yoshi and the Mysterious Book,” the upcoming Switch 2 platformer. The demo became available on the Nintendo eShop following an announcement that initially went live ahead of schedule before being briefly retracted.
The demo grants players access to the game’s first chapter, providing an early glimpse into the game’s core mechanics. According to Nintendo’s announcement, the demo will let players experience “discovering creatures and experimenting to find out all about them,” suggesting the game features creature collection or interaction elements alongside traditional platforming gameplay.
The availability of a demo represents Nintendo’s commitment to allowing players to experience new titles before purchase, particularly for a high-profile Switch 2 exclusive. This move gives potential buyers a chance to evaluate the game’s unique mechanics before making a purchase decision.
