GTA Online’s Next Big Heist, The First Since 2020, Is Coming Soon And It Looks Great
Rockstar Games has announced that The Kortz Center Heist, the first major new heist for GTA Online since 2020’s Cayo Perico, will launch on July 14, 2026. The heist tasks players with stealing valuable artworks from the prestigious Kortz Center art museum while working with characters Mr. Faber and his chief fixer, Raf De Angelis.
As part of the update, players can acquire an Art Studio expansion for their mansion, which serves as both a heist preparation room and a new property feature. Within this studio, a “gifted counterfeiter” creates forgeries that players use to replace the stolen artworks during the heist.
The heist follows the established GTA Online formula with multi-stage setup missions leading to a main finale. Players can tackle the heist solo or with up to three other players, though cooperative play is emphasized as the more engaging experience. Like other heists in the game, players have the option to approach the objective stealthily or with force, with silent completions rewarding significantly more money than loud approaches.
This update represents Rockstar’s continued support for GTA Online as fans await news about the upcoming GTA 6. The heist release aims to keep the player base engaged with fresh content during the interim period before the next mainline Grand Theft Auto title arrives.
