Microsoft Forms just gave me another reason to prefer it over Google Forms
Microsoft has integrated Copilot AI assistant directly into Microsoft Forms, offering users intelligent tools for creating and analyzing surveys and polls. The update brings Copilot chat functionality to Forms, matching the AI integration already available in Microsoft 365 applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
With Copilot now embedded in Forms, users can access targeted recommendations to improve their forms’ structure, clarity, and effectiveness. The AI assistant can suggest refinements to poll and form design, helping users create more impactful surveys. Additionally, Copilot can analyze response data and present actionable insights, streamlining the data review process and making it easier for users to understand survey results.
The feature is currently available to users with Microsoft 365 commercial Copilot licenses, representing another step in Microsoft’s broader strategy to embed AI capabilities across its productivity suite. This move positions Microsoft Forms as an increasingly competitive alternative to Google Forms, offering AI-powered features not currently available in competing products.
