Nickelodeon’s San Diego Comic-Con 2026 Plans Include a Slime-Fueled Outdoor Experience
Nickelodeon is bringing a major presence to San Diego Comic-Con 2026, with plans for both an indoor booth experience and a large outdoor activation. The company will operate “Nick’s Fun-Ergy Factory” at booth #4113 on the convention center floor, offering attendees interactive challenges, immersive experiences, and photo opportunities inspired by some of Nickelodeon’s most popular franchises.
The booth experience will feature content from three major Nickelodeon properties: SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. These “must-share” moments are designed to give fans engaging ways to interact with the IP and create shareable social media content.
Beyond the convention floor, Nickelodeon is also launching a larger outdoor activation called “Fun Flows Here” at The New Children’s Museum’s park (located at 200 W. Island Ave.). While details about this multi-activity experience were not fully specified in the announcement, the venue choice suggests an elaborate, family-friendly experience that extends Nickelodeon’s Comic-Con footprint beyond the traditional convention space.
The dual-location strategy—combining a high-traffic convention floor presence with a dedicated outdoor experience—represents a significant investment in fan engagement and brand activation at one of the entertainment industry’s largest annual events.
