GTA Online’s Kortz Center Heist gets release date, first details
Rockstar Games is launching the Kortz Center Heist for Grand Theft Auto Online on July 14, introducing a new heist that casts players as art thieves targeting a famous museum gallery. The Kortz Center—a location featured in a Merryweather mission during GTA 5’s single-player campaign—will be the target of this elaborate robbery.
The heist will be playable in both single-player and co-op modes and requires players to own a mansion. Players must stake out the museum, plan their approach, and steal valuable paintings and sculptures to display in their homes. A distinctive feature allows players to replace stolen artwork with forgeries, adding strategic depth to the heist. The update introduces a new Art Studio mansion extension to house and manage stolen art collections.
Rockstar has emphasized the Kortz Center Heist offers a “unique new level of replayability,” suggesting multiple approaches and methods to complete the mission. The heist marks the game’s first major new heist mission in an extended period and will arrive on PS5, PS4, and other platforms.
