Roblox’s Latest Crossover Is One I Guarantee You’d Never Guess
The Rolling Stones, one of the most legendary rock bands of all time, are launching an immersive experience on Roblox at The Block virtual venue, running from July 10–17. The limited-time event coincides with the release of the band’s new album Foreign Tongues, which debuted on July 10, and will feature both classic hits and new songs from the album.
The experience takes the form of a cooperative game where players work together to “save rock history” by defeating a mysterious antagonist known as The Man, who has traveled back in time to destroy rock and roll. According to the game’s description, players must “Stop The Man and bring back The Rolling Stones for the biggest music event ever.”
This crossover represents another significant example of established musical acts leveraging the Roblox platform to reach younger audiences and promote new releases. The limited-run nature of the event creates urgency for players to participate during the event window.
