Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis actor wraps up “on the last official session” of recording
Voice actress Alix Wilton Regan has completed the primary voice recording sessions for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, marking a significant milestone for the upcoming action-adventure title. Regan, who voices Lara Croft in the new game developed by Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog, announced the completion on Instagram, describing the moment as “big” and “emotional.”
The recording journey spans nearly four years, beginning in 2022 and concluding on July 10, 2026. In her announcement, Regan emphasized that while the main recording sessions are complete, additional work remains ahead, including pickup sessions to capture missed dialogue and bug-fix recordings to address issues discovered during development and testing.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis represents a new chapter for the iconic franchise, with Regan taking on the lead voice role. The extended production timeline reflects the scope and complexity of modern AAA game development, particularly in voice acting where multiple recording sessions across different phases are standard practice throughout development cycles.
