Review: Turtle Beach Pacific Skyline - The New Xbox Controller With GTA 6 Vibes
Turtle Beach has released the Pacific Skyline, a new Xbox controller that combines standard controller functionality with distinctive visual styling inspired by Grand Theft Auto 6. While the controller maintains core features of standard Xbox pads, Turtle Beach differentiates it through two key design elements: a vibrant front design and glow-in-the-dark functionality that activates in dark environments.
The Pacific Skyline includes practical gaming features for competitive and casual players alike. It features TMR (Tournament-Grade Sticks) for enhanced precision and durability, along with mappable back buttons that allow players to customize controls without repositioning their hands during gameplay. These additions reflect modern expectations for specialized gaming peripherals.
Pure Xbox’s review indicates the controller doesn’t introduce revolutionary functionality, but its distinctive aesthetic and practical features distinguish it from competitors in the crowded third-party controller market. The combination of performance-focused design and eye-catching styling appeals to players who value both gaming capability and visual appeal. The reviewer’s coverage suggests the Pacific Skyline offers sufficient unique qualities to warrant attention despite the abundance of alternative options available to Xbox players.
