Warframe Reveals Major New Chapter, Playing Card Mini-Game, Fortnite Collab And Much More
Digital Extremes held its 11th TennoCon celebration this week, showcasing major announcements for the free-to-play co-op looter shooter Warframe. The developer unveiled “Warframe: Tau,” a new major narrative chapter expanding the game’s story, alongside Brysko, a new Sentient Warframe character.
The update introduces Warframe’s first dedicated card mini-game, new enemy factions and environments, and new music. These additions expand gameplay variety and deepen the narrative experience for players across all platforms.
Warframe is also partnering with Epic Games’ Fortnite for a cross-game collaboration. Players can earn an Excalibur skin within Fortnite through the crossover, creating engagement opportunities across both gaming communities.
The announcements come as Warframe continues to expand following its recent arrival on Nintendo Switch 2 in March 2026.
