New Fortnite Season Features Gaming Icons Like Crash Bandicoot & Sonic, It’s Claimed
According to multiple Fortnite leakers, the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 will feature a gaming-themed seasonal update celebrating classic video game characters from decades past. Leakers including SpushFNBR have corroborated reports that the new season will pay homage to gaming icons, with Crash Bandicoot and Sonic the Hedgehog mentioned as likely inclusions in the crossover.
The gaming-focused season will launch following the conclusion of Chapter 7 Season 3, continuing Fortnite’s established strategy of leveraging major intellectual property partnerships to maintain player engagement. Epic Games has built a reputation for securing crossovers with recognizable franchises and characters across entertainment, gaming, and other media properties.
While full details remain unconfirmed and based on community leaks rather than official announcements from Epic Games, the rumors have been supported by multiple reliable sources within the Fortnite datamining and leaking community. A gaming legends theme would represent a thematic shift for the battle royale and position the next seasonal update as a celebration of retro and classic gaming culture, potentially appealing to players with nostalgia for earlier generations of video gaming.
