Kingdom Hearts 4 News Could Come Sooner Than You Think
Disney announced a “Deep Dive into Kingdom Hearts” panel for its biennial D23 fan event on August 15, 2026, celebrating the franchise’s 25th anniversary. The hour-long session will feature insights from creative minds, voice actors, and developers discussing how the collaboration between Disney, Pixar, and Square Enix shaped the beloved RPG series.
While Disney has not explicitly confirmed Kingdom Hearts 4 announcements, the dedicated anniversary panel has intensified fan speculation about the long-awaited sequel. The previous mainline installment released seven years ago, and 2026 is shaping up to be a significant year for the franchise, with a new Kingdom Hearts collection in development and gameplay footage revealed earlier this year. Additional excitement surrounds rumored Fortnite crossover plans.
D23, held August 14-16 in Anaheim, California, serves as Disney’s premier platform for announcing upcoming films, television series, and gaming projects. The Kingdom Hearts panel represents one of several gaming-related announcements expected at the event, making it a key date for keyblade wielders hoping for news about the franchise’s future.
