Critical Role Campaign 4 return date announced
Critical Role has announced an official return date for Campaign 4, following a brief hiatus from the acclaimed actual-play tabletop RPG series. The campaign will resume on August 27, marking the return to the Game of Thrones-inspired world of Aramán, masterfully created and overseen by Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan. The announcement was made public through images captured at Critical Role’s Berlin live event, Projekt Funball, which were subsequently shared across social media platforms including Reddit and Tumblr.
The break came just weeks after the main campaign paused, allowing the studio to focus on other content. During this interim period, fans have had the opportunity to enjoy the premiere of Critical Role’s new miniseries, Age of Umbra: Sallowlands, which aired on July 9. This miniseries has provided the community with fresh content while awaiting the return of the main campaign’s signature tables: the Soldiers, Seekers, and Schemers.
With the return date now confirmed, fans of the long-running actual-play series have a concrete date to mark their calendars for the continuation of their favorite campaign.
