Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen DLC Adds Over 25 Hours Of New Content
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is set to receive its first major DLC expansion, Dark Arisen, launching in October. Producer Naoto Oyama revealed in an interview with Automaton that the expansion will deliver over 25 hours of additional content, making it substantial in scope—comparable to a significant portion of the base game itself.
The expansion introduces an entirely new region called Norgan, a snowy area for players to explore. Beyond the new region, Dark Arisen will feature additional dungeons designed for both new and returning players. Oyama noted that players engaging with both the base game and DLC “will get a substantial experience,” suggesting the expansion complements rather than replaces existing gameplay.
Developed under the direction of Kento Kinoshita and produced by Naoto Oyama, Dark Arisen represents a significant development effort. With over 25 hours of content, the expansion offers considerable replay value for fans of the action RPG franchise and positions October as a major content release for Dragon’s Dogma 2.
