We might see a new Logitech Superstrike this September, just a few months after the world’s first proper analogue mouse launched
Logitech is preparing to release a second-generation Superstrike gaming mouse this September, building on the success of the original G Pro X2 Superstrike, which debuted earlier this year as the world’s first gaming mouse with true analogue clicks. The innovation combines haptic feedback and induction technology to deliver a breakthrough in gaming peripheral design.
According to information shared by a “highly trusted leaker” on gaming peripherals reviewer Jakeu’s Discord server, the new Superstrike will feature an upgraded main controller and further refinements to its technology. The leaker indicated there will be no Hero 3 sensor in the new model, signaling different hardware specifications from competitors. Details remain scarce, with the leaker referencing cryptic improvements to “HITS” functionality.
Logitech plans to unveil the new Superstrike at Logitech G Play in September. The rapid iteration between the original launch and this second-generation release demonstrates strong market reception for analogue click technology and suggests the feature may become a standard consideration in competitive gaming peripherals moving forward.
