Exclusive: Mondo Reveals Masters Of The Universe 2002 Keldor And Flocked Panthor Figures
Collectibles company Mondo has unveiled two new limited-edition figures based on the 2002 Masters of the Universe animated series. The centerpiece is a 1/12-scale Keldor figure, depicting the character before his transformation into the villain Skeletor. The figure is highly detailed, featuring Keldor’s iconic weapons, a fabric cape, and an acid vial accessory. The set includes multiple swappable hands and alternate headsculpts to display different expressions and appearances.
Accompanying the Keldor release is a 1/6-scale Panthor figure—Skeletor’s ferocious beast companion. This figure features flocked faux fur as part of its design, giving the creature a more authentic appearance compared to standard plastic-only collectibles.
Both figures are part of Mondo’s broader initiative to create premium collectibles inspired by underrated entries in the Masters of the Universe franchise. The 2002 animated series, while not as widely recognized as other MOTU adaptations, has developed a dedicated fanbase, and Mondo’s figures appear targeted at collectors seeking detailed, screen-accurate representations of these characters.
