Capcom Gives Monster Hunter Wilds a ‘Permanent Price Reduction’ as New DLC Bundles Announced

Capcom is streamlining Monster Hunter Wilds’ digital offerings and reducing the base game’s price starting August 4, 2026. The base game currently retails for $69.99/£64.99 but will receive a permanent price cut, though the exact new price wasn’t specified in these announcements.

As part of this restructuring, three current editions will be discontinued on August 3-4: the Deluxe Edition, Premium Deluxe Edition, and Cosmetic DLC Pass. These are being replaced with three new bundles: the Gold Edition, Cosmetic DLC Collection, and Extras Cosmetic DLC Pack, which combine content from the base game and DLC offerings.

The changes represent Capcom’s effort to simplify purchasing options and make the game more accessible to new players nearly 18 months after its initial release. The new Gold Edition appears positioned as a definitive version containing bundled content, while the cosmetic-focused collections offer alternative pathways for players interested in character customization.
