The Season 3 announcement follows the recent completion of Season 2, demonstrating the fighting game’s commitment to sustained character roster expansion. The use of an animated trailer underscores the developer’s efforts to build anticipation around new fighter reveals, a marketing strategy increasingly common in the competitive fighting game space.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has established an aggressive DLC cadence since launch, maintaining player engagement through regular character additions. The announcement signals SNK’s intention to sustain the game’s live-service model with ongoing seasonal content drops. Additional details regarding the full Season 3 roster, release timing, and specific mechanics or balance adjustments for the teased characters have not yet been disclosed.
