AC Black Flag Resynced Update 1.04 Available to Download Now
Ubisoft released update 1.04 for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on PlayStation 5 on July 16, 2026, marking the pirate-themed action game’s first major post-launch update. The 2.44GB patch delivers a comprehensive suite of fixes, tweaks, and optimizations focused on improving overall performance and stability.
The most significant fix addresses a game-breaking bug where players’ ships would unexpectedly disappear or trigger unexpected mutinies when visiting ports to purchase ship upgrades and customizations. This critical issue had the potential to severely disrupt player progression by effectively stranding captains without access to their vessel.
Beyond the ship-related fix, the update rectifies frame rate performance issues occurring during cutscenes, improving the smoothness and visual presentation of key story moments. The patch also includes visual enhancements to the game’s sky rendering and weather systems, making atmospheric conditions more vibrant and visually appealing.
