Epic Games Store’s new free PC games revealed
The Epic Games Store is offering two free PC games this week: Echo Generation and Luto.
Echo Generation is a retro turn-based adventure developed by Cococucumber set in the small town of Maple Town. Players control a group of children investigating a supernatural conspiracy while battling spooky monsters. The game features pet companions as gameplay elements and includes over 30 minigames alongside the main adventure. It has received strong community reception with a Very Positive rating on Steam, and a sequel was released earlier this year.
Luto is a psychological horror experience centered on themes of isolation and mortality. The title offers a contrasting darker tone to the more whimsical Echo Generation.
Both games are available for free on the Epic Games Store for a limited time as part of the platform’s ongoing weekly free game program, which aims to attract users to its storefront.
