Hasbro Announces Partnership With Nintendo For Zelda Toys, First Will Be Revealed Soon
Hasbro and Nintendo have announced a multiyear licensing partnership to develop toys based on The Legend of Zelda franchise. The collaboration is scheduled to launch in 2027, timed to coincide with Nintendo’s upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda film releasing April 30, 2027.
Though the full toy line launches in 2027, an early preview is coming soon. Hasbro and Nintendo will reveal three 6-inch-scale figures at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 (July 23-26). However, no details have been disclosed about which characters or locations these figures will represent, leaving fans to speculate whether they’ll focus on the live-action film’s cast or draw from the broader Zelda franchise.
The partnership’s 2027 launch timing with the film’s release suggests a close connection to the live-action adaptation, though this hasn’t been officially confirmed. The Comic-Con reveal later this month will provide the first official look at Hasbro’s Zelda merchandise.
