Sega’s Gamescom Line-up Includes Alien: Isolation 2 And Crazy Taxi: World Tour

Sega has announced its playable line-up for Gamescom 2026, taking place in Cologne, Germany from August 26-30, 2026. The publisher will showcase several upcoming titles, with two major Switch 2 releases featuring prominently: Alien: Isolation 2 and Crazy Taxi: World Tour, both scheduled to launch on Nintendo’s next-generation console.

While these games are destined for Switch 2, attendees should be aware that the playable builds at Gamescom will not be running on Switch 2 hardware. Instead, visitors will experience PC or PlayStation 5 versions of these titles during their hands-on demonstrations. Sega has not indicated plans to showcase the actual Switch 2 versions of either game at the event.

The announcement underscores Sega’s commitment to Switch 2 as a significant platform for major releases. Alien: Isolation 2 continues the acclaimed survival horror franchise, while Crazy Taxi: World Tour represents a new entry in the classic arcade series. Both titles are expected to be substantial releases for the console’s launch window, offering players a mix of survival horror and arcade-style gameplay experiences.
