Skate Adds Its Biggest Event Yet: The Legendary X Games
Full Circle announced that Skate’s fourth season will feature the franchise’s most ambitious event yet: a full X Games integration into the game’s world. As the season approaches its midway point, the developer is bringing one of action sports’ most iconic competitions directly into San Vansterdam.
The event takes place in The Stadium, Skate’s major dynamic location introduced alongside Season 4. This venue will be transformed to recreate the authentic X Games experience, featuring competition areas familiar to real-world event viewers and participants. The in-game location will include iconic spots such as a competition vert ramp, street park, and bowl section—recreating the diversity of disciplines that make the X Games a marquee event in skateboarding culture.
The announcement was made via a detailed post on Steam on July 16. Most notably, all X Games event content will be completely free for players to access. This decision ensures that the expanded content reaches Skate’s entire player base without additional cost barriers, consistent with the game’s approach to seasonal events and live-service content.
This milestone represents a significant step for Full Circle’s skateboarding simulation, bridging the gap between virtual and real-world competitive skateboarding by bringing one of action sports’ most prestigious competitions into the digital realm.
