Longer Gamertags Are Now Available For Everyone, Plus 11 Other New Xbox Features
Microsoft has released twelve new Xbox console features to all users following their public rollout. The update, which went live recently, includes longer gamertags alongside eleven additional features that expand Xbox’s functionality and user experience.
These features were previously exclusive to members of the Xbox Insider program, where they underwent testing before being made available to the broader user base. The expansion to all Xbox console users represents the completion of a testing cycle that allowed Xbox to refine the features based on feedback from the Insider community.
While the full details of all twelve features were not disclosed in this announcement, the inclusion of extended gamertag support is a notable quality-of-life improvement that addresses player requests for greater customization and flexibility in how they represent themselves on the platform.
