Deals: All 150+ Backwards Compatible Games In The Xbox Summer Sale 2026
The Xbox Summer Sale 2026, also known as the Ultimate Game Sale, has officially launched with approximately 150 backwards compatible titles from the original Xbox and Xbox 360 eras now available at discounted prices. The sale represents a significant opportunity for players to acquire classic games from gaming’s earlier console generations at reduced costs.
Backwards compatibility has been a cornerstone feature of Xbox, allowing players on current-generation Xbox Series X and Series S consoles to play titles from previous console generations. This sale highlights the breadth of that catalogue, showcasing nearly 150 different titles spanning both the original Xbox and Xbox 360 platforms.
The sale includes titles that players should be aware may have since received modern ports or remasters on current platforms. This information is useful for buyers deciding whether to purchase the backwards compatible version or wait for a potentially more modern iteration.
The sale demonstrates Xbox’s continued commitment to preserving its gaming heritage while providing value to players interested in exploring the platform’s classic library.
