Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is bringing back Bush Trips and you can already try them in the latest Sim Update 6 beta
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is receiving a significant content update with the return of Bush Trips, a popular feature from Flight Simulator 2020. The much-anticipated feature is now available to test in the latest Sim Update 6 beta (version 1.8.8.0), following the initial beta release.
Bush Trips—specialized flying challenges and routes—are making a comeback after being absent from the 2024 version at launch. While not all Bush Trips from the previous game have been restored, a substantial portion is available for players to experience and provide feedback during the testing phase before the official release.
The feature’s return was previously announced during FlightSimExpo 2026, indicating that developer Asobo Studio is working to bring back community-favorite content for the newer iteration of the flight simulation platform. The beta release provides an opportunity for players to test the re-implemented Bush Trips and report issues before launch.
Sim Update 6 continues Microsoft’s commitment to expanding Flight Simulator 2024’s content offerings, demonstrating the ongoing development cycle for the simulation title.
