Wuthering Waves is getting an anime as its developer establishes Kuro Onroad
Kuro Games has announced an anime adaptation of Wuthering Waves, its popular gacha action-RPG, titled Wuthering Waves: Elysium. The adaptation marks the first project under Kuro Onroad, a new banner the developer has established to handle its animation efforts going forward.
The announcement trailer confirms the anime will feature 3D animation and characters from the game, though broader details remain limited. Kuro Games describes the show as “based on the world of Wuthering Waves,” leaving unclear whether it will adapt existing game characters and narratives or establish new stories within the established setting. It is also unknown whether Kuro Onroad is partnering with another animation studio for the production.
