Baldur’s Gate 3, Clair Obscur actor Jennifer English withdraws from Tides of Annihilation to “look after her mental and physical health”
Award-winning actor Jennifer English has withdrawn from Eclipse Glow Games’ action title Tides of Annihilation, citing the need to “look after [her] mental and physical health.” The voice actor, known for prominent roles in Baldur’s Gate 3 and Clair Obscur, characterized the departure as “difficult yet personally necessary” as the game enters its next phase of development.
English expressed gratitude for having been part of Tides of Annihilation since the project’s inception and for collaborating with what she described as a “lovely team.” She explained that she recently found herself needing to “slow down and reassess the commitments” she had undertaken, leading to her decision to step away from the project.
Eclipse Glow Games has confirmed the departure and stated it has already secured a replacement for the role. The studio described the new performer as “incredibly talented” and indicated the game will continue development without disruption as it moves forward into its next phase.
