Twisted Treeline and Dominion “Very Likely” for League Classic

Riot Games has confirmed that League of Legends Classic, launching July 29, is “very likely” to receive additional game modes in the future. The retro-focused title will feature older versions of League from Season 3 and earlier, catering to players nostalgic for the game’s formative years. Riot has already confirmed ARAM Mayhem Classic-ish as a planned addition.

League Classic director Brian ‘FeralPony’ Feeney addressed community inquiries about bringing back legacy game modes, suggesting that previously removed modes such as Dominion and Twisted Treeline could return. While Feeney confirmed no non-Summoners Rift modes are currently available at launch, his remarks indicate Riot is open to expanding the classic lineup. The announcement has generated interest among players hoping to revisit game modes discontinued years ago. League of Legends Classic represents Riot’s effort to preserve older game versions while maintaining engagement through feature additions.
