Rehaunted, a First-Person Psychological Horror Detective Game, Announced for PC

Rehaunted, a first-person psychological detective horror game, has been announced for PC. Players assume the role of detective Connor Raines, who must investigate a disturbing mystery within a strange house. A defining feature of Rehaunted is that every clue examined throughout the investigation seems fundamentally wrong, with the full scope of this wrongness gradually revealing itself as the case unfolds.

Gameplay centers on examining various evidence types including blood traces, fingerprints, hidden recordings, and personal belongings. Players utilize specialized investigation tools such as UV equipment, a camera, and a magnifying glass to uncover clues and piece together the mystery.

Rather than operating entirely alone, players maintain real-time radio communication with another detective, sharing their findings and discussing the case as it develops. This collaborative communication element adds an interactive dimension to the investigative experience, allowing players to talk through the disturbing events with their partner detective.

The game is currently in development for PC, with a debut trailer and screenshots recently released to showcase the project.
