Xbox Game Pass Gets Even More New Games In July
Microsoft has announced the second wave of new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in July 2026 and early August. The lineup features several day-one releases, with Halo: Campaign Evolved headlining as the month’s biggest addition on July 28 across Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Joining the service are other notable day-one launches including Shift at Midnight (July 22), a cooperative detective horror game requiring teamwork across randomly generated shifts; Mistfall Hunter (July 30), a dark fantasy extraction action RPG; and Beast of Reincarnation (August 4), an action-RPG from Game Freak, the developers behind the Pokémon franchise.
The second wave also includes additional titles such as The Planet Crafter and Heretic + Hexen, a classic first-person shooter bundle originally created by id Software. All games are available on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms through Game Pass.
The announcement comes as Microsoft works to bolster its gaming offerings following a significant Xbox division restructuring earlier this year.
