EA Sports has officially announced Kylian Mbappe as the cover star for FC 27’s Ultimate Edition. The 27-year-old French superstar continues his partnership with the publisher, following his previous appearance on FIFA 23’s cover in 2022.
Mbappe’s selection comes on the heels of an impressive performance at this year’s World Cup. Although France fell short in the semifinals against Spain, Mbappe was among the tournament’s standout performers, scoring a tournament-leading 10 goals and earning the Golden Boot award for his efforts.
The footballer responded positively to the announcement, describing it as a “very special moment” and “an honor” to continue working with EA Sports on its professional football simulation series. His continued presence on the franchise’s covers reflects both his current prominence in professional football and the success of his previous partnership with the publisher.
