Gamescom 2026’s exhibition area is fully booked for the first time

This record-breaking achievement reflects unprecedented demand from exhibitors across the gaming industry. Event organizers have confirmed that exhibitor demand is “higher than ever before,” signaling strong industry confidence in the event.
The sold-out status has prompted Gamescom’s organizers to begin planning an expansion of the exhibition area for 2027. According to the announcement, this expansion is intended both to accommodate the continued surge in exhibitor interest and to enhance the overall visitor experience at the event.
Gamescom 2026 will feature a full program of activities both at the physical venue in Cologne, Germany, and through global livestream coverage, ensuring worldwide access to announcements and exhibitions. Felix Falk, managing director of game – The German Games Industry Association, noted that the event will be “bigger than ever.”
