Splatoon Raiders, the latest exclusive title for Nintendo Switch 2, launched this week accompanied by a day-one patch update. The launch update includes various adjustments and bug fixes designed to enhance the overall gameplay experience and stability. According to Nintendo’s Japanese website, the latest update data is required to play the game online, ensuring players access the most current version before engaging in multiplayer features.
While detailed patch notes have not yet been made available through local channels, Nintendo indicates the update addresses performance improvements and general stability enhancements. The requirement for mandatory update data to access online features underscores Nintendo’s commitment to maintaining optimal multiplayer functionality and a consistent player experience across the platform.
The launch follows Nintendo’s established pattern of releasing first-party titles with accompanying day-one patches, a practice that has become standard for major platform releases. Splatoon Raiders represents a new adventure within the Splatoon franchise and marks a significant exclusive launch for the Switch 2’s expanding game library.
