80+ Ubisoft Games Have Suddenly Been Added To The Xbox Store On PC
Ubisoft has significantly expanded its presence on Xbox by adding over 80 games and bundles to the Xbox app for PC. This latest update marks a continued effort by the publisher to increase accessibility of its library across Xbox platforms, providing desktop users with expanded purchasing options. The expansion includes various editions and bundles spanning multiple Ubisoft franchises, all now available for purchase directly through the Xbox PC client.
However, the implementation comes with notable limitations. Players will still need to enable the Ubisoft extension to launch and play these titles, adding an extra step to the user experience beyond the typical Xbox app integration. More significantly, the PC versions of these games currently do not support Xbox achievements, a feature available on other platforms. This limitation has drawn criticism from users on community platforms like Reddit, highlighting the inconsistency in Xbox’s PC experience compared to console versions and other storefronts.
