Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 Brings Bombastic Xenomorph Blasting to PS5 Next Month
Daybreak Games has confirmed that Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will launch on PlayStation 5 on August 25, 2026. The sequel to the studio’s sci-fi co-op shooter will continue delivering bombastic xenomorph-blasting action. The original Aliens: Fireteam Elite established itself as a fast-paced cooperative multiplayer experience within the Alien franchise universe, and the sequel aims to build on that foundation. The confirmed August release date represents a significant shooter arrival for PlayStation 5. Fans of cooperative sci-fi shooters and the Alien franchise can expect the sequel to deliver similar high-octane action when it launches on PlayStation’s current-generation console.
