Disney announces Percy Jackson season 3 release date
Disney Plus has announced that Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 will premiere on November 20, adapting Rick Riordan’s novel The Titan’s Curse. This marks the first live-action adaptation of the third book in the series, following 20th Century Fox’s film adaptations of The Lightning Thief (2010) and The Sea of Monsters (2013). During a Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con, the cast and crew revealed that season 3 will represent a significant tonal shift, with producers emphasizing it as the darkest season of the show to date. The announcement underscores Disney’s continued investment in adapting popular literary franchises for its streaming platform.
