Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Super Limit-Breaking Neo DLC Release Date Revealed
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero will receive a major expansion with the Super Limit-Breaking Neo DLC launching on July 30, 2026. The update adds over 30 new playable characters, four new stages, gameplay adjustments, and new attacks to the fighting game.
Notable character additions include Pikkon, Super 17, Super Saiyan Bardock, Great Demon King Piccolo, Android 17, and alternate versions of characters like teenage Goku, Chi-Chi, and Tien. The DLC was initially announced in April 2026, with the reveal showing these fighters would expand the roster for the first time since the Dragon Ball Daima character pack released in late 2024.
A centerpiece of the DLC is Limit Breaker Journey, a new single-player RPG-lite mode where players select a character to progress through roguelike-style battles while leveling them up. This addresses player feedback requesting more content variety beyond additional characters. The expansion continues post-launch support for the fighting game, which launched in October 2024.
