Valorant Mobile Exceeds 100 Million Downloads in China Alone

Valorant Mobile has surpassed 100 million registered players in China, nearly a year after launching exclusively in the region on August 19, 2025. The mobile adaptation of Riot Games’ tactical shooter has demonstrated remarkable growth, attracting approximately 170,000 downloads in its first 24 hours. By May 2026, the game had grown to over 10 million active daily players, reflecting strong retention and engagement within the Chinese market.

The game’s success has generated significant anticipation in the global gaming community, with players worldwide awaiting an announcement for worldwide availability. Valorant Mobile has introduced exclusive cosmetic bundles unavailable on PC, further fueling demand among the franchise’s existing player base. PC players have expressed interest in accessing these platform-exclusive items, driving curiosity about the mobile client’s eventual global expansion.

Despite strong performance metrics and evident international interest, Riot Games has not yet announced plans for a global launch. As of July 2026, Valorant Mobile remains exclusively available in China. The substantial success in a single market suggests significant commercial potential for expanded distribution, though the publisher has maintained the region-locked strategy for nearly a year.
