Free Play Days: Try These Xbox Games For Free (July 23-27)
Xbox Free Play Days for July 23-27 features a strong lineup of games available at no cost to players. The centerpiece of this week’s offering is the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1, which grants free access to three classic entries in the stealth-action franchise: the original Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear, and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. These titles represent Hideo Kojima’s legendary contributions to video game design and storytelling.
Rounding out the free play selection is Tides of Tomorrow, a choice-driven adventure game that emphasizes narrative agency and player decision-making. This pairing provides variety for different gaming preferences—from players interested in experiencing foundational stealth-action gameplay to those seeking story-focused adventures.
Xbox’s weekly Free Play Days program allows subscribers to try games without additional purchase, serving as both an opportunity for new audiences to discover classics and for longtime fans to revisit influential titles that shaped stealth gameplay conventions. The collection’s inclusion this weekend makes these gaming landmarks more accessible during the promotional period.
