One of Crunchyroll’s best new gen shonen anime shares first look at season 2

Gachiakuta, one of last year’s standout action anime, is getting a second season. The series’ official YouTube channel announced that production is underway via a brief promotional video, offering the first look at what fans can expect.

The teaser showcases key characters and moments from the upcoming season, featuring Enjin, the Raiders, Amo, and Rudo riding atop a car. The footage hints at the Information Broker arc, where the Cleaners and Raiders engage in a race to gather intelligence on a mysterious item. This arc promises to continue the intense action and world-building that made the first season compelling.

The first season adapted the source manga up to chapter 87, while the original work currently spans over 170 chapters. Based on the anime’s current pacing, at least a full 24-episode season would be needed to catch up with the manga’s current progression. However, the production team has not yet announced a release window for season 2. Fans will need to wait for further updates on when the new episodes will premiere, though the production announcement suggests development is actively underway.
