You might not hear that much about it anymore, but the PUBG series grew its revenue by 25% in the first half of 2026
Despite having largely disappeared from mainstream media coverage, the PUBG series continues to generate substantial revenue. Publisher Krafton announced in its Q2 2026 financial earnings report that the PUBG intellectual property generated 25 percent more revenue during the first half of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025.
Once the dominant multiplayer title on PC, PUBG has quietly maintained strong commercial performance. The franchise remains a regular fixture in Steam’s top five most-played games, regularly competing with some of the platform’s leading releases.
The continued revenue growth reflects the franchise’s enduring appeal despite reduced mainstream visibility. PUBG: Battlegrounds on PC continues to drive the IP’s financial performance through ongoing live-service monetization strategies. The results demonstrate that despite fading from popular conversation, the battle royale retains a dedicated player base generating significant revenue for publisher Krafton.
